The Northern Hills Parent Teacher Organization (NH PTO) comprises all parents, grandparents, & legal guardians of Northern Hills students as well as teachers, faculty, & school administrators.
We are a non-profit organization that has no membership fees or annual dues. We cordially invite you to all of our meetings & events!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is coming up May 5-9. We LOVE our wonderful teachers and staff and. Our goal is to provide snacks and/or drinks for each day of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week as well as one lunch (details to come)! Please consider making a donation to make this year's appreciation week as amazing as our teachers.

Fundraising Parties
It's time to start thinking about grade level summer fundraising parties. For these parties, a small group of parents host the event, & students buy $10 tickets as a fundraiser for PTO. We are looking for no more than five hosts for each grade. If you have any questions or ideas for a party, please email president@northernhillspto.com.

PTO has a referral link with Inch Bug labels! PTO will receive 20% back on all purchases. Inch Bug has great label stickers, silicone drink labels, and bag totes so your children’s belongings can be returned to you instead of lost and found!

Watch Dog Volunteers
Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students) is looking for volunteers! We welcome any males, dads,
grandpas, uncles, etc. to come volunteer at the school. We are looking for help with recess.
Volunteer time slots are available from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You can come for an hour or two
or stay for the entire four-hour block. Please sign-up at the link below two days in advance of
volunteering so we can let the office know to expect you.

With your help, the PTO treats our incredible teachers & staff members to lunch once a month.
While it might seem like a small gesture, it's a great way for both new & veteran teachers to get to know one another while being treated to a nice meal.

Text Messaging
Edmond Public Schools has implemented text messaging service for parents. Text messaging allows EPS to deliver important information about school closings, safety alerts, bus announcements and more via SMS text messaging through the School Messenger system (the same system currently being used to send automated phone calls). The process is simple and only takes a few seconds to complete.
To receive these messages, you must OPT-IN to the messaging service. Please text "Opt in" (NO HYPHEN) to 67587. By sending the correct message of “Opt in” (NO HYPHEN) you will get this message back: “You’re registered 4 SchoolMessenger notifications. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. (etc)”.

PTO Newsletters
During the school year, look for a Parent Newsletter each week with important information on upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and sign-up links. This is your go-to spot for all the latest info in one place.
The emails will come from "Northern Hills Elementary" and are pushed out to all currently enrolled students at the email addresses entered for each student in the Infinite Campus portal; no special sign-up or subscription required.
Mobile App
The district has launched an official mobile app designed
to enable parents, staff, students and the broader community
to stay informed and up-to-date on important issues,
information and activities underway within the school community.
The free app is available for download in the Apple and Android
app stores by searching for Edmond Public Schools.
