The Northern Hills Parent Teacher Organization (NH PTO) comprises all parents, grandparents, & legal guardians of Northern Hills students as well as teachers, faculty, & school administrators.
We are a non-profit organization that has no membership fees or annual dues. We cordially invite you to all of our meetings & events!

Opportunities
PTO has a referral link with Inch Bug labels! PTO will receive 20% back on all purchases. Inch Bug has great label stickers, silicone drink labels, and bag totes so your children’s belongings can be returned to you instead of lost and found!

Family Assistance
We understand that during uncertain times, families may need additional resources and help. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance or would like to help out in our community, here are some helpful resources:
Car Line Volunteers
PTO is looking for car line volunteers! We welcome any parent of a Northern Hills student to sign up to help between 8:15-8:45 on Friday mornings. We will need 12 volunteers each week, so feel free to sign up for multiple dates! If you have any questions, please contact Kristin Simpsen at president@northernhillspto.com.
Hospitality Needs Your Help
Each month, our PTO treats our teachers & staff members to a fun meal, snack, or other goodies as a little token of appreciation for all their hard work.
In December, we are providing wrapping paper & holiday treats for our staff. While we know most people are stretched pretty thin right now, if you're in a good place & would like to help, donations are always graciously accepted to help make our hospitality events even more meaningful.

PTO Online Store
With your help, the PTO treats our incredible teachers & staff members to lunch once a month.
While it might seem like a small gesture, it's a great way for both new & veteran teachers to get to know one another while being treated to a nice meal.

Text Messaging
Edmond Public Schools has implemented text messaging service for parents. Text messaging allows EPS to deliver important information about school closings, safety alerts, bus announcements and more via SMS text messaging through the School Messenger system (the same system currently being used to send automated phone calls). The process is simple and only takes a few seconds to complete.
To receive these messages, you must OPT-IN to the messaging service. Please text "Opt in" (NO HYPHEN) to 67587. By sending the correct message of “Opt in” (NO HYPHEN) you will get this message back: “You’re registered 4 SchoolMessenger notifications. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. (etc)”.

PTO Newsletters
During the school year, look for a Parent Newsletter each week with important information on upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and sign-up links. This is your go-to spot for all the latest info in one place.
The emails will come from "Northern Hills Elementary" and are pushed out to all currently enrolled students at the email addresses entered for each student in the Infinite Campus portal; no special sign-up or subscription required.
Mobile App
The district has launched an official mobile app designed
to enable parents, staff, students and the broader community
to stay informed and up-to-date on important issues,
information and activities underway within the school community.
The free app is available for download in the Apple and Android
app stores by searching for Edmond Public Schools.
